Trust Locus®
About
Engaged Intelligence® was founded by leaders with deep experience in culture, performance, and organisational transformation. Between us, we’ve spent decades in boardrooms, advising CEOs, leadership teams, and global organisations on how to navigate culture crises, leadership blind spots, and people challenges.

We’re building Trust Locus®, a real-time trust intelligence system that makes trust measurable, visible, and actionable.

Trust is rebuilt by focusing not on what the other person did or did not do but on critiquing one's own behavior, improving one's trustworthiness, and focusing attention not on words and promises but on actions, attitudes, and ways of being."

Frequently Asked Questions

The essentials about why trust matters and how Trust Locus® works.

Q: Why is trust so important in organisations?

Trust is the foundation of performance, resilience, and long-term growth. When trust is high, people stay, collaborate, and innovate.

When it breaks down, performance suffers.

  • 33% lower productivity in low-trust organisations (PwC).
  • 57% less engagement and 66% more burnout when trust is missing (Edelman).
  • High-trust companies see up to 50% higher profits and 286% higher shareholder returns (HBR).

Trust isn’t a “nice to have.” It’s a measurable driver of business outcomes, as critical as revenue, risk, or retention.

Q: What makes Trust Locus® different from surveys or HR dashboards?

Trust Locus® provides anonymous, real-time, actionable trust insights, not lagging survey scores.

Trust Locus® isn’t another engagement survey or HR dashboard. It’s designed to build trust rather than erode it.

  • Anonymous and safe – employees share reflections confidentially, ensuring honest feedback leaders can rely on.
  • Real-time and continuous – insights appear immediately, not once a year.
  • Human and relational – tools like sentiment feedback and journaling foster connection, not just metrics.
  • Easy to use – integrates with platforms such as Slack, reducing friction and encouraging adoption.
  • Evidence-based – high-trust organisations achieve up to 3x better performance, stronger engagement, and lower attrition.

Leaders get high-quality data they can act on quickly, employees feel heard and respected, and organisations unlock measurable gains in performance and resilience.

Q: Who is Trust Locus® designed for?

Trust Locus® is built for large, complex organisations where leaders need reliable insight into trust across divisions, departments, and geographies.

It is especially relevant for:

  • CEOs – to manage risk, retention, and resilience.
  • CHROs – to strengthen culture, engagement, and wellbeing.
  • COOs – to improve collaboration and delivery.
  • CFOs – to link culture and trust directly to ROI.
Q: How does Trust Locus® build and rebuild trust?

By combining anonymity, transparency, and voluntary use, Trust Locus® creates honest feedback employees and leaders can trust.

Trust Locus® is designed not only to measure trust but also to strengthen it through the way it works.

  • Anonymity drives honesty – private responses allow people to share openly without fear.
  • Transparency builds belief – leaders see clear, aggregated data with no hidden manipulation.
  • Voluntary use signals respect – participation is simple and optional, showing employees they are trusted.
  • Consistency strengthens confidence – regular use makes indices more reliable and trusted over time.

Employees know their voices are safe, leaders gain authentic early signals, and organisations develop a culture of honesty, respect, and measurable trust.

Q: How do the Trust Locus® algorithms work?

The system uses short, randomised questions and aggregated data to generate live trust maps while protecting anonymity.

Trust Locus® uses a simple but powerful process to generate reliable insights while protecting anonymity.

  • Randomised, short questions – each check-in asks just 2–3 varied trust questions, avoiding fatigue.
  • Anonymous by design – individual answers are never visible; leaders only see aggregated indices.
  • Team-level insights – responses generate trust indices for teams, departments, or divisions.
  • Visual heatmaps – leaders see where trust is strong or fragile, filtered to their span of control.
  • Wellbeing signals – occasional wellbeing prompts enrich the data, giving a fuller view of resilience.

Leaders gain a live “trust map” of their organisation. Employees know their input is safe, leaders know the data is reliable, and both sides benefit from openness and early action.

Q: What do leaders actually see?

Leaders see aggregated trust indices and visual heatmaps at the team, department, or division level. This provides a clear view of where trust is strong, where it’s weakening, and where action is needed, without exposing individual responses.

What leaders will see

This is what senior leaders will see. It will give them the opportunity to pinpoint where they may have a trust challenge.

They have an opportunity to intervene if deemed necessary.

Q: Is Trust Locus® secure?

Yes. Trust Locus® is anonymous by design and fully compliant with GDPR and data privacy regulations.

Individual responses are never visible, and results are only shown in aggregate at a team or group level. Additional security standards protect sensitive information.

Q: How much time does it take employees to use Trust Locus®?

Each check-in takes less than a minute, just 2–3 quick questions. Designed to fit seamlessly into existing workflows (including integration with Slack), Trust Locus® minimises disruption while maximising insight.

Q: How does Trust Locus® support business performance?

Research shows high-trust organisations are 2.5–3x more likely to outperform peers. By making trust measurable and actionable, Trust Locus® helps leaders:

  • Reduce attrition and recruitment costs.
  • Strengthen engagement and collaboration.
  • Improve delivery and decision-making.
  • Protect long-term performance and resilience.
Q: Can Trust Locus® integrate with our existing systems?

Yes. Trust Locus® is designed for ease of use and integrates with platforms such as Slack, making it simple for employees to engage and ensuring leaders receive higher-quality data.

Q: What does it mean to be an early partner?

Early partners work directly with the Engaged Intelligence® team to shape and refine Trust Locus®.

They receive:

  • Preferential access and onboarding support.
  • Opportunities to co-create new features.
  • Recognition as pioneers in measurable trust.
